The Battle Belongs to the Lord Notes    

1. Recognize where the battle front is located ( Nehemiah 4:1-4). 2 Corinthians 10:5 (NLT):  We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. Ask God to destroy any false or proud thoughts that you might have. Ask him to change your mind from wrong thinking to right thinking about His power in your life. 

2.Recognize the enemy’s weapons of deception and fear (Nehemiah 4:2-3,10-12). Satan uses deception to cause fear that comes in the form of lies and the opposition of the enemy.

Outside Opposition:Mockers

Inside Opposition: Discouragement of strength (vs.10), Discouragement from wrong sources (vs.11), Discouragement of hop (vs.12)      

3. How do we fight in the battle that goes on around us (Nehemiah 4:4, 9-15). Nehemiah prays and remains vigilant
